We will pick you up at 6:00 AM at the meeting point in Arturo Prat Main Square, Puerto Natales, to head to Torres del Paine National Park. Once there, we will begin our search and explore pristine areas of the eighth wonder of the world, where there are high chances of spotting the incredible mountain lion, better known as the puma. We will also enjoy the native wildlife that coexists harmoniously, along with the breathtaking landscapes that are unique and iconic to Torres del Paine.
Around lunchtime, at about 1:00 PM, we will find a suitable spot to eat and rest before continuing our search and tracking of the puma. It is worth mentioning that the lunch area will always be close to the felines’ territory. We will persist in our search and activities until approximately 7:30 PM, concluding with the return to the hotel.
We recommend a minimum of 3 days for tracking pumas in their natural habitat. Although it is also possible to do the activity in just one day, it is important to keep in mind that sightings are not guaranteed, as these are animals that live in complete freedom and make their own decisions. Thanks to our experience, knowledge of the terrain, and understanding of the behavior of these felines, we have high probabilities of success — but always under the terms and rhythms imposed by nature.
