I wanted to share my experience with Fotosafari in Torres del Paine. I arrived in Puerto Natales on July 13, 2025 and I had booked a Safari with Felipe Roman from July 14 to 16. The first day after a few hours of driving in the Torres del Paine park, we had the opportunity to observe our first pumas. The second day was the best because the pumas were much closer. Felipe knows the habits of pumas well, and after being able to observe a puma at the top of a hill, we were able to position ourselves to cross the path of the puma which was crossing the road. The puma passed within 1.5 meters of us, it was an incredible experience. The third day, we were lucky to find a puma still very close. The photos I was able to take are incredible! I recommend doing at least 2 days of photo safari, pumas are wild animals, and if you really want to get the photo of your dreams, 2 days seems to be the right compromise. I used a 600mm to take the best photos, but thanks to Felipe, a 70-200mm or even a wide angle could be enough if you are lucky! Crossing paths and photographing the wild pumas of Torres del Paine is an incredible experience that I will never forget!
